WHAT HAPPENS DURING A PODIATRY TREATMENT?
One of our podiatrists will warmly welcome you into our clinic and full details of your medical and treatment history will be taken. Our podiatrists are bound by a strict code of ethics and any details that you disclose will be kept in strict confidence.
You will then have both of your feet examined thoroughly and any foot conditions diagnosed. After this, we will discuss the options which are available to you. Your feet will then be treated and foot care advice is given, where necessary, to keep your feet healthy in the future.
Working on a dry foot, treatments can involve cutting and filing nails, removing corns or and callus, exfoliating with a mechanical sander, followed by a luxurious moisturizer. Podiatry may also include Biomechanics and minor surgery.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
We recommend that you visit a Podiatrist at least 4 times per year for optimum foot health.
